Services Request Form

Collect blastocysts to transfer mice to another facility.

Male Founder: $250.00

 

Services provided by the facility:

 

Coordinate with receiving facility to set up pseudopregnant recipients.

Set up male founders with C57Bl/6 females.

Check Plugs.

Flush at blastocyst stage.

Give blastocysts to investigator’s mouse facility at appropriate time.

 

Responsibilities of the investigator:

 

· Have timed pseudopregnant females ready to implant blastocyst stage embryos.

· Submit a “service request form”.

 

Exportation of blastocysts fee includes:

 

      20 blastocysts or 5 unsuccessful plug attempts due to infertility problems.

 

 

Female Founder: $300.00

 

Services provided by the facility:

 

Mate female founders to C57Bl/6 males to generate offspring.

Provide DNA from offspring to be analyzed by investigator to determine positive            females.

Mate positive males to C57Bl/6 females to generate blastocysts.

Check plugs.

Flush at blastocyst stage

Give blastocysts to investigator’s mouse facility at appropriate time.
