Utilizing Surface Plasmon Resonance for the Discovery and Development of Therapeutic Antibodies
Chapter in Methods for Structural Analysis of Protein Pharmaceuticals (in press AAPS publisher)
Surface plasmon resonance optical biosensors have been used for over a decade to analyze biomolecular interactions. Because of their versatility and recent advancements in experimental design, biosensors are now being used to support many stages of developing therapeutically important macromolecules. Specifically, we focus on how the technology has been applied to screen and characterize antibodies, as well to support their evaluation in clinical studies and to monitor production.
