Phinikoula S. Katsamba
Postdoctoral Scientist

Dr. Katsamba received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California in 2002. Her graduate work involved characterization of a two-step model for binding of the U1A protein to the U1 hairpin II RNA.

Dr. Katsamba joined the group in October 2002. She is currently working on examining the binding interactions of small molecules to G Protein-Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) in an effort to understand signal transduction within this receptor family.
