Peter Stenlund
Former Postdoctoral Scientist
Dr. Stenlund received a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Umeå University in 2000.
As a graduate student, he studied the structure/function relationships of
human extracellular superoxide dismutase. He joined the Center
for Biomolecular Interaction Analysis in October 2001.
Dr. Stenlund pioneered the design of novel assays to monitor G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs)
using SPR. The methods involve reconsitituting solubilized receptors into a membrane environment
on the biosensor surface.
Upon completing his postdoctoral training Dr. Stenlund worked at Biacore AB (Upsalla, Sweden) and is currently a research scientist at Octapharma AG.
