Taqman SNP Assays

Taqman Assays are the best option for SNP Genotyping projects that involve a few number of SNPs and a large number of samples. The assays are robust, reliable and very easy to prep and can be done in 384-well plate format. The assay itself can be run on a regular thermocycler, but a Real-Time PCR detection instrument is necessary to scan the results and generate the genotypes. At the Core we host two ABI 7900HT Real-Time dections instruments that can perform cycling and scanning of SNP Taqman assays on 96-well or 384-well plates.
