General MS Services
The MS and Proteomics Core Facility provides basic mass spectrometry services for the University community, as well as biotech companies in the regional area and other academic institutions. A broad range of research applications and sample types are accepted for analysis (e.g. natural products, synthetic peptides, small molecules, polymers, PCR products, nucleic acids, PCR products, and other biomolecules).
ESI and MALDI ionization methods on Quadrupole or Time-of-flight (TOF) instruments are available for sample analyses.
- MS/MS – CID fragmentation for structure elucidation
- low resolution ESI/MS and ESI/MS/MS
- low or high resolution MALDI/ToF
- LC/MS and LC/MS/MS
- LCQ-Deca instrument equipped with: Eksigent 1D NanoLC, 75um column, 400 nl/min gradients, C18
