Core Operating Policy
1. To be eligible for "User Run" rates, all potential operators must be trained by Core Lab Personnel. Third party training (i.e. an approved operator training someone else in their lab) is not acceptable. Any
damage caused by improperly trained individuals will be charged to the responsible lab!
2. Billing will be based on the actual time of use or the amount of time the instrument was reserved,
whichever is greater!
3. FACScan analyzer time may be cancelled without penalty up to 10:00 am on the day of scheduled use. After 10:00 am the time reserved will be billed to the investigator.
4. FACSVantage cell sorter time may be cancelled without penalty up to noon of the day before scheduled use. After noon of the preceding day, time reserved will be billed to the investigator.
5. For non-sterile sorting there is an additional half hour charge for instrument set-up time and for sterile sorting there is a one hour charge for set-up and sterilization.
