This page is under construction. Sorry.

However, some details are available:

We use a system that provides direct and uniform heat to the entire surface upon which cells are grown. Cells are plated on specialized dishes that incorporate an optically correct coverglass as the bottom surface. The coverglass is externally coated with an optically transparent, electrically conductive material that heats as current is passed through it. The dish temperature is constantly monitored, and the current applied to the bottom surface is adjusted as necessary to maintain the correct temperature.

An objective heater is also used to prevent the objective lens from drawing heat away from the culture dish, and a perfusion pump can be installed to provide a supply of fresh media to the sample.
